THE PERFECT STORM

Darling, please allow me to throw myself upon your mercy, before you dismiss my poems of silence, which you once adored through my teary eyes.

In this frolicsome paradise of my heart, the pursuit of happiness was first formed between us via the perfect storm we created.

If you recall…the perfect storm is two raging hearts burning with passion inside the fire of romance that leaves fragrant ashes upon their lips.

Under luminous colors, the beauty of your spirit haunts me with the countenance of a woman bringing me to my knees for the breath of her sweet kisses.

Darling, these strings of my heart continue to play your song amidst the rising sun and the eternal moonlight glowing above a lonely stream.

Sadly, the perfect storm has become unkind to my soul, ever since the temptress of life unleashed her fury upon the death of my poems, which are no longer desirable to her beautiful eyes.

  1. Hi Andy. Another beautiful poem. So much feeling within.

Now I realise why I hadn't followed you. I didn't know you had a 'Google Friend.' It would be a great idea to move your followers to the top sidebar and you'll get a lot more followers. I only just thought of scrolling right down before I left.

  2. What should I say when these little words condense to form a beautiful expression which even beats the emotion I feel at real times?

    Hats off Sir, truly!

ღ " If you recall…the perfect storm is two raging hearts burning with passion inside the fire of romance that leaves fragrant ashes upon their lips. "

Andy, I Love the analogy of raging hearts burning....How poignant is the vision of remnants of fragrant ashes - scattered amidst the perfect storm....
    ღℒℴνℯღ certainly is tempestuous...isn't it?

ღ "Under luminous colors, the beauty of your spirit haunts me with the countenance of a woman bringing me to my knees for the breath of her sweet kisses. "

Whomever suggested Romance is dead...has certainly never read your pღetry my dear .....

As always...I remain in awe of your talent.

  8. Andy,
The pleadings of a love painstakingly goaded upon one without much success makes the journey more exciting. It is more satisfying when success becomes apparent. Interesting episode!

  12. Good evening Andy,

When reading this you are drawn into the feelings of the poet who is saddened because he feels he has lost the woman for whom he has been expressing his feelings about in her no longer reading his words of passion, love and desire. The phrase...Darling, please allow me to throw myself upon your mercy, before you dismiss my poems of silence, which you once adored through my teary eyes. Such emotions....I know for me, as long as you keep writing, I will keep reading.

  14. Of course , if storms could be perfect the one raging between two hearts would be it. But storms necessarily are tempestuous . It's the calm that settles afterwards that will let you know where you have been blown over...safe shores or the deep sea. I hope it is the former , for you Andy.
