My darling, the sweet, silky voice of a nightingale singing reminds me of yours when you first sang for me under the midnight sun.
The sunlight knifing its way through the morning clouds is still not as beautiful to me as your pretty face next to mine before the flashing lights of a camera.
Justified indulgence is even sweeter when a woman's charisma blankets the heart of a man with the quilt of love his soul desires.
Without you, miserable is what I will be, until the earthling laws of nature bring your feminine fragrance to me upon the wings of the passing wind.
The truth of love is not only in the heart, but also in the stars glittering with sheer beauty over the image of a Lady Flower like you.
My darling, your eyes sparkle with so much virtue, elegance and justice that I humbly bow before you with a loving smile.
Justified indulgence is most honorable when two hearts like ours are converted into one for the profound beauty and ultimate power of love.

Andy,
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I could not move my eyes beyond the picture. 'Death by Chocolate' would be an apt caption for the picture. But . . . But I did tear myself away from the picture on to your words and then I couldn't leave the page for your words had me struck. Well, Andy, what do you do to mere mortals like us who get so very carried away by your visual-word treats.
A marvellous stop by, I must say.
Joy always,
Susan

Love the imagery in this poem, especially the light knifing through the clouds and charisma blanketing the heart of a man. Really beautiful. And I really enjoyed the idea of justifying indulgence. Great poem!
