For the first time ever, I'm taking part in the A-Z Challenge and NaPoWriMo, where I'll have to write a poem a day for the whole of April (26 in total for A-Z). I'm combining both challenges. Sundays are writing days off for the A-Z Challenge (except for Day 1). This is my entry for NaPoWriMo Day 15 only.
My darling, an evening spent without you is impossible for this fragile heart of mine to bear.
Loving you has made my life so beautiful that each day I live, I have a better understanding of the principles of heaven from right here on earth.
Walk with me among the pyramids of time and permit me to decorate your gorgeous image with the flowers in my heart.
The sweet imprint of your last kiss, although invisible to the naked eye, has left its beauty upon my lips.
An evening without you, my love, is like facing a brand new day with no purpose, responsibilities or desires.
How can I fall asleep knowing your soft, silky hand will not be in mine like it was every other night before?
Lady flower, this evening without you has left a void in my heart that needs only your sweet, bashful smile to make it whole again.
