For the first time ever, I'm taking part in the A-Z Challenge and NaPoWriMo, where I'll have to write a poem a day for the whole of April (26 in total for A-Z). I'm combining both challenges. This is my entry for Day 3 letter "C".
Sweet darling, this romantic heart of mine is filled with thoughts of you caressing the infancy of a newborn flowerbed.
Tell me…how does the secret of passion between two friends stay concealed through the eyes of their conversations?
The fringes of my dreams bear your fingertips opening the curtains of my heart and smiling at your beautiful picture buried inside.
You are the cosmopolitan flower beautifying the garden of my dreams with a flavorful, enchanting fragrance that no man can ignore.
Even though your beauty belongs to the world, it is the embrace of your warm, pretty smile that binds my emotions to yours.
Please know that you have all rights to play the harp of my heart during the tenderness of your quiet evenings.
My darling, you are the cosmopolitan flower secretly filling my eyes with the beauty of romance born from among this aromatic flowerbed of yours.
