NO MEANING

Beautiful woman, your lovely presence in a garden of elegance is so powerful that flowers look upon you as their mother.

They wait patiently for water from your soft hands to enhance their beauty and to quench their thirst for the zest of life.

Even thorns find great joy by seeking shade in the tenderness of your charismatic shadow, as your priceless allure gives them hope in a world where their image is often considered a nuisance and frowned upon as unappealing to the human eye.

My darling, with you, my eyes know the true essence of beauty.

Without you, beauty would have no meaning to my loving heart.

    1. Dear Ann,
Not sure how to answer your question. I would like to believe that anyone that has jewelry, perhaps and quite possible, could be of sentimental value. I don't think its just Indians. In all honesty, not sure what Indians have. As always, thank for the visit.

  8. beautifully said... "even the thorns"!

"gives them hope in a world............"

It still amazes me how I can read something and the feelings or thoughts that the words trigger. "even the thorns" "gives them hope" Reading your poem took me back 10 years, I had just got sober and I felt, like you said, unappealing to the human eye... my thorns were exposed. Two years into sobriety I found (was given) the greatest gift... Hope. You've reminded me of that with this poem. Thank you.

  13. Lovely! I wish you could understand Italian :) It's easier to put wonderful comments in that language.

Your poems are so light to read... almost like lifting up a woman's dream to a certain height. I liked how you described 'woman' here ~ un bel fiore in un giardino. Bellissima :)
