B is for: BEFORE EVERY LISTENING EAR

Beautiful is the woman whose spirit is as pure as the wine flowing from the throne of beauty that dwells in the heavens.

The lavish lifestyles of the rich and famous do not entice her curiosity nor does her tender heart desire glittering gold or materialistic gifts.

She is the sweet sweat that falls from the heart of a man who finds great joy in toiling to take care of her everyday needs and wants.

The life in her heart bears only his name, for she finds much contentment in his kisses and faithfulness.

Her gorgeous reflection in the mirror of life reminds him of her everlasting beauty, which cannot fade before his eyes.

She is the flower upon his lips of whom he readily speaks whenever other women try to lure him away with their perfume scents and cunning flatteries.

She is the happiness that he echoes proudly before every listening ear and every thirsting heart.

  8. This is what my sweet hubs would say if he were poetic. But he's not. But I love that I know he loves me like this. There are few gifts a man can give a woman that are greater than his loyal and faithful love. Beautiful words and thoughts, as always, Andy.

  24. I think if my husband were a romantic this is how he'd write about me.

Unless it were just after I come back from my morning walk. And then I suspect he would not praise my sweat.

    He's shallow like that.

    But I love him anyway.

I'm thinking he may have to e-mail you and pay you to write me a poem!

    ha!

    I feel faint now, though.

Thanks for always making us girls swoon with your writing!

    A+
