C is for: COMPLICATED DREAMS


Lady Flower, kindly taste the harvest of my heart and you will see that its fruits are all filled with your precious sweetness.

You hold my eyes with tears of pleasure every time your grace and femininity appear in my dreams with a whispering prayer upon your lips.

Among lit lamps, I see visions of you hiding your beautiful smile from me behind a mysterious, silken veil.

I must admit that when I first observed you staring into the heart of a flower, I saw melodious poetry in the beauty of your eyes.

Grant me my wishes in these complicated dreams of life and I promise to kneel before you with a bowed head, should you welcome me into the secrets of your heart.

Come with me into the dreams of the night and together let us share the union of two hearts intoxicated by the nectar of romance.

My darling, these complicated dreams of mine are lost amidst the promises of yesterday and the kisses of a beautiful woman whom I might never come to know or love.

  2. Oh wow.. every line was very touching and sparked a few long long lost memories.. "Lady Flower." A bit personal for me.. someone I once knew used to call me, something very similar to your, "Lady Flower." How can it be that every line.. never mind.. it's silly but all this is just so hauntingly familiar. Even the veil that hides her smile.. that's also very touching and again a bit personal for me. I'm sorry if I'm rambling.. I should quit but there are really no words to describe how beautiful this is Andy.

    So love your artistic prose - painting pictures of a man's heart within words. I can't match Lady Flower but did have a young man (half my age) who used to refer to me as Lovely Lady! Hee hee, did me no end of good... ;)
